Terms of Service
1. General Technology Consulting Services
PsiMac provides technical support, training, troubleshooting, technology consulting, and advisory services on either an hourly or project basis, or included with a service plan. All consulting work is billed according to the rate in effect at the time of service unless otherwise stated in a written estimate or agreement.
Travel, hardware, and third-party software or service costs are not included unless explicitly stated. Payment is due at the time services are rendered and cancellation policies are provided in advance.
Consulting engagements may include diagnostic sessions, system setup or optimization, software configuration, and other technical support tasks. Larger or specialized projects—such as infrastructure design, network upgrades, relocations, or server deployments—may require a separate proposal and scope of work.
PsiMac will make every effort to resolve your issues and achieve successful outcomes. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of service and support, but specific results or timelines cannot be guaranteed. There may be circumstances under which we are unable to resolve your issues or achieve successful outcomes.
You understand that in the process of working on your computers, mobile devices, and other equipment, there is a potential for data loss. You agree that you have made the necessary backups of your data so that, in the event of such loss, the data can be restored. PsiMac will not be responsible for data loss. For help restoring lost data, PsiMac may be consulted. You authorize the consultant(s) providing the service to install software and agree to terms of use on your behalf as necessary to perform the required services.
All remote or onsite consulting services and service plans are subject to the terms in this agreement.
2. PsiMac Prime Service Plans
PsiMac Prime provides proactive monitoring, maintenance, and advisory services related to the reliable operation of your existing technology environment. The plan is designed to minimize downtime and ensure a stable computing experience. PsiMac Prime plans focus on the ongoing maintenance of systems already in place.
Covered services typically include:
Regular software and security updates
Malware scanning and prevention
Mobile device management
Proactive monitoring and issue notification
Priority service
All remote or onsite consulting services including technical support, training, and troubleshooting are billed at a discounted hourly rate. PsiMac will review your plan periodically and notify you if adjustments are needed or when plan pricing or hourly rates change.
3. PsiMac Prime+ Service Plans
PsiMac Prime+ is an exclusive plan available only by special offer to select clients. PsiMac Prime+ includes all the benefits of PsiMac Prime, with the added inclusion of consulting time for day-to-day support needs. This plan is designed to deliver total peace of mind – maintenance, monitoring, and general consulting under one simplified monthly rate.
Included consulting time applies to regular support tasks such as software troubleshooting, configuration assistance, user training, and general technical advice related to covered devices and systems.
Larger or project-based work is not included under your PsiMac Prime+ plan and will be quoted and billed separately. Examples include:
Network or Wi-Fi upgrades
Office moves or new site setups
Server installations or data migrations
Large-scale rollouts, integrations, or infrastructure changes
Custom automation, scripting, or development projects
PsiMac will provide advance notice and an estimate for any work outside your plan’s inclusive scope.
4. Plan Review and Adjustments
PsiMac reserves the right to review, adjust, or reclassify your plan based on changes in technology usage, environment complexity, or consulting demand. Any such changes will be communicated in writing prior to implementation.
5. Fair Use and Client Cooperation
Clients are expected to maintain reasonable practices that allow PsiMac to deliver effective support. This includes maintaining current backups, allowing access to managed systems, and notifying PsiMac of any major infrastructure changes that may affect plan coverage.
6. Billing and Payment
PsiMac Prime plan fees are billed monthly in advance. PsiMac Prime+ plan fees are billed in advance on a yearly, semi-annually, or quarterly basis.
All consulting work is billed according to the rate in effect at the time of service unless otherwise stated in a written estimate or agreement. Failure to maintain timely payment may result in suspension of services.
7. Limitation of Scope
PsiMac Prime plans are intended for ongoing support and maintenance of the client’s existing Apple-based technology environment. PsiMac is not responsible for data loss, hardware failure, or third-party service outages, though best-effort assistance will be provided to mitigate impact.
8. Messaging Terms & Conditions
You agree to receive informational messages (appointment reminders, account notifications, support and guidance, marketing, etc.) from PsiMac. Message frequency varies.
