PsiTool® is a unique support solution providing a premium level of protection for your Mac.  The fully self-contained unit is backed by professional remote support from an Apple-certified technician.

 

How it works

The hardware unit comes preinstalled with customized software to help recover from common system failures. If your Mac malfunctions, have PsiTool® handy and call PsiMac for help.

PsiTool® will start up any Mac* even when your startup disk stops working.

It's simple:

  1. Connect PsiTool with a single cable (included)
  2. Press the Option key and turn on your Mac
  3. PsiMac responds and begins screen sharing

PsiTool® contacts PsiMac anywhere in the world for assistance. Anytime, automatically.

PsiMac will remotely operate on your system using screen sharing technology. As you watch the procedure on your screen, we will discuss the diagnosis.

 

       
  

 

High Technology

PsiTool® comes with fully-licensed utilities preinstalled, including powerful software such as: DiskWarrior 4 to rebuild damaged disk directories and check for file corruption; TechTool Pro 5 to test hardware and evaluate hard drive health; and Data Rescue II to recover data from a failing hard drive.

PsiTool® is a pocket-sized unit that includes a 100 GB portable hard drive that is useful for emergency data recovery in case your system cannot be repaired remotely.

Measuring merely 1.50” x 0.50" and weighing less than 5g, PsiTool® nano is a truly tiny troubleshooter!  Despite its diminutive size, PsiTool® nano is every bit as effective as the full-sized PsiTool®.**

 

*PsiTool® works with all current Mac models from 1999 to the present. Both PowerPC and Intel versions are included.

**PsiTool® nano works with all current Mac models featuring an Intel processor, including all Macs released since 2006. Due to its small size, PsiTool® nano is not designed to store your files in case data recovery is necessary.  However, it can be used along with a standard external hard drive to perform data recovery.
