Thanks Joe for all your help. Having you to consult with makes me think of how those who go to shrinks feel comforted in knowing that if the going gets rough they can always call their 'therapist'.

It’s in Apple’s DNA that technology alone is not enough. That it’s technology married with liberal arts, married with the humanities, that yields us the result that makes our hearts sing.

My Mac Museum

I have always loved the design of Apple products. One of the major benefits of being a technology consultant is having an excuse to own many cool gadgets and keep my gear current.

Although my previous generation equipment can often be refurbished and repurposed, eventually I must take old gear out of service when it becomes obsolete.

After years of dependable use, technology may acquire a personality and inspire an emotional response.

So rather than dispose of old machines, I prefer to exhibit them in my office.

Our wonderful clients and friends, Trudie and Ben Larrabee, posted about our Mac Museum on their blog: Joe's Mac Museum.  Check it out and explore their other posts for insight into their working relationship.

The following machines are among those currently on display in the Mac Museum: PowerBook 520c, PowerBook G3, PowerBook G4 12-inch* and 17-inch, orginal iBook, original iMac, iMac G4, Power Mac G4, Power Mac G4 Cube, Power Mac G5, original iPhone*, iPhone 3G, original MacBook Air*, and Apple Cinema Display (*originally owned by Joe.)

Most of the machines in my Mac Museum still work. Technology moves so fast that many old machines stop being used long before they stop working.

We would love to have you stop by our office to visit the Mac Museum!
